Okay so my lovely friend Laurel, okay so she’s Dave’s friend but she’s my new friends too, works at this freaking awesome coffeshop, Sam and Zoe’s or Zach and Joeys as I like to call it. I wish I could make coffee and make it taste good because I’d want to work there if I did. Anyways… So this is right down the street from The Pfunky Griddle that I went to like a week or so ago with Amanda. It’s very similar as it is in an older house and it feels really retro and great. I love it there. I went on Sunday and got a Latte and a shared a muffin with Davey–Pumpkin (so good). I also went yesterday and got a Latte and that was super great too. I love it there and would recommend it to anyone. I think this will be my new coffee shop choice. Check it out if you live in Nashville or Tennessee.
So life has been very very very busy lately. I have recently taken a promotion at Express. This is just on a temporary basis as I am trying to help out my wonderful store that I LOVE so much! We have a few sales leads that are leaving our store and our store manager is taking a few month sabbatical, so to be a team player and help them out I have taken this promotion. It’s basically like what I’ve been doing but just a little more effort has to put into it and I will be working on the weekends and making more money. Yay! This will only be till June but I’m excited.
I had a doctor’s day yesterday. Never any fun. I got a little nervous because she felt a lump in my left breast but she said that it wasn’t anything to worry about, at least not right now. So that’s good, I suppose. I also went to the dentist and they found a crack in one of my fillings so now I have to get a crown. Yippy for me. I hate going to the dentist because it sucks. There are some people who hate the doctor, I am not one of them, but I hate the dentist, I go but I hate it. It’s not any fun ever! Last time I was there they told me I had to get my wisdom teeth out, I did that and my face hurt for a month. Stupid teeth growing in sideways!! UGH…
I can’t wait to get my new camera. I’ve been having a lot of fun working on my 365 self portrait project. I think it’s so much fun, but I really want to start using my new camera so that I will get better pictures. Here’s Sunday’s picture. This was fun to edit because I really have no idea of the hell I’m doing with photoshop but its fun to play around till I like the way it looks, and I had 1 person comment on the editing of it on Flickr. Yay! I haven’t had time to edit yesterday’s so it’s not ready for your viewing. But here is Sunday’s pic.
